At Southside Baptist Church, we believe growing in our relationship with Jesus Christ is a lifelong journey. Our Adult Ministry provides opportunities for people of all ages and stages of life to study God’s Word, build meaningful friendships, and serve others.

Whether you are new to Southside, raising a family, navigating a new season of life, or looking for a place to belong, there is a place for you here. Our desire is to help every adult grow spiritually, develop lasting relationships, and discover how God can use them to make a difference.

SUNDAY SMALL GROUPS
Growing Together Through God’s Word

We believe spiritual growth happens best when we study God’s Word and share life with others. Our Sunday morning Small Groups give adults opportunities to connect with others, build friendships, and deepen their understanding of Scripture. Each group focuses on biblical teaching, meaningful discussion, prayer, and applying God’s Word. Small Groups are more than a weekly Bible study. They are communities where people encourage one another, care for each other, and grow together as followers of Jesus Christ. Whether you have studied the Bible for years or are just beginning your faith journey, we invite you to find a Small Group where you can belong.

MIDWEEK GROUPS
A Place to Grow in Your Walk with Christ

Life brings challenges, questions, and opportunities that remind us of our daily need for God’s wisdom. Our Wednesday evening Midweek Bible Studies are designed to help adults grow deeper in their faith and apply biblical truth to everyday life. Throughout the year, we offer a variety of Bible studies for men, women, and adults of all ages. These studies provide opportunities to explore Scripture, strengthen your relationship with Christ, and connect with others who desire to grow spiritually.

Midweek is also a time to step away from the busyness of the week, find encouragement, and be reminded of God’s faithfulness.

Men’s Ministry

Strengthening Men in Faith, Family, and Service

Our Men’s Ministry exists to encourage men of all ages to become stronger followers of Jesus Christ and faithful leaders in their homes, church, and community. Through Bible studies, fellowship gatherings, special events, and opportunities to serve, men are encouraged to build lasting friendships and strengthen one another in their walk with Christ. Throughout the year, our men participate in ministry projects, outreach opportunities, and special gatherings that bring men together around a shared commitment to faith and service.

Whether you are a young adult, a father, or enjoying retirement, our Men’s Ministry offers a place to connect with other men who desire to honor God in everyday life.

Women’s Ministry

Encouraging Women to Grow in Faith and Friendship

The Women’s Ministry at Southside is a welcoming community where women of all ages and stages of life can grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ and encourage one another.

Through Bible studies, fellowship gatherings, prayer, and service opportunities, women are equipped to grow in their understanding of God’s Word and live out their faith with confidence. Our desire is to create an environment where women can build genuine friendships, find encouragement through life’s different seasons, and use their God-given gifts to serve others. Whether you are new to Southside or have been part of our church family for years, we invite you to join us as we grow together in Christ.

AAW | Any Age Welcome

Good Food. Great Fellowship. A Place for Everyone.

AAW stands for Any Age Welcome, and that is exactly what this ministry is about! AAW is a monthly fellowship gathering designed to bring people together for a wonderful time of food, friendship, encouragement, and devotion. It is an opportunity to enjoy meaningful conversations, strengthen relationships, and spend time with others in our church family.

This ministry is open to adults of every age. Whether you attend regularly or are joining us for the first time, you will find a welcoming atmosphere and a place at the table. We believe fellowship is an important part of church life, and AAW provides a wonderful opportunity to build friendships that extend beyond Sunday mornings.
