Mission & Vision

Go therefore and make disciples...

The Mission

Southside Baptist Church’s mission is to lead people to love God, love people, and make disciples.  We want to see lives, families, and our community transformed by the power of God’s Word and the Holy Spirit, one life at a time.

The Vision

The vision of Southside Baptist Church is to glorify Jesus Christ in all things by faithfully proclaiming His Gospel, cultivating disciples who live under His Lordship, and advancing His Kingdom throughout Fayette County and beyond. We are called to embody and share Christ’s transforming love, engaging our community with compassion, truth, and intentional relationships so that every person may come to know Him personally as Lord, King, and Savior.

Our Disciple Pathway

At Southside Baptist Church, we believe following Jesus is a lifelong journey of growing in faith and helping others do the same. Our Disciple Pathway provides four simple steps: Connect to Christ, Commit to Growth, Contribute through Service, and Commission Others.

Whether you’re just beginning your journey with Christ or have followed Him for years, our desire is to help you take your next step as we love God, love people, and make disciples.
